Bargain Cuts content is still very useable, however there are either technical or artistic issues that lower the price of the clips. Technical issues range from flashes, camera restarts, pieces of other clips, dirt, scratches, color imbalances, image shake, focus and speed problems, among other things. Additionally, timelapse shots may have birds, planes, bugs and other things that may look anywhere from dirt to unwanted speed moves. Some may seem technically fine however artistically the compostition seemed less desirable and ended up in Bargain Cuts. These clips maybe perfectly suited for certain projects. Some Bargain Cuts maybe better used as still frames or stylized, stabilized or otherwise altered in post. Any dirt or scratches could possibly be removed using modern postproduction software. Register under My Account to create a clip bin and test clips. Click "+Clip Bin" under clips to add and delete from clip bin till ready to purchase collection.
Cuts are offered "as is" and we highly encourage you to download two (2) test files available for every clip on the library to your computer editing system. This is your opportunity to check the shot out, it is very important to do so for we offer a no refund policy once the footage has been purchased.
The 2-test clips are located in the pop up windows of the Info or QT located under the shot you like. You will need to register in order to download test clips.
The (2) two test files are:
1) The full-length NTSC QuickTime preview clip in low-resolution to view content.
2) A 15-frame sample of the full-resolution NTSC QuickTime file to view quality. Important note: 15-frame full-resolution sample files are slightly softer due the addition of a watermark and recompression than the clip to be purchased. The clips licensed will be slightly crisper.
