HD/DVcuts offers highest quality royalty free stock footage clips that download immediately to meet production deadlines. The demand for quality digital video for video projects was the impetus for starting HD/DVcuts in 1993. We proceeded to create a functional website to download free sample clips available for every clip in the library to evaluate the footage and when ready to purchase provide instant downloads for people to edit with immediately.

Our award winning cinematographer finds "unique blends of light, space and time" and is well known for specializing in time lapse, using innovative filming techniques explores and experiments to capture fresh new beautiful and powerful shots. HD/DVcuts shots has been in numerous feature films, commercials, broadcast television, music videos, concerts, among numerous other projects over the years. Whenever a storm is brewing, sun is setting, moon is rising, nature is calling, city life stirring, we are out in the earth and sky all around to find and expertly film compelling footage. We enjoy traveling far and wide to film. Shot by a professional cinematographer on HD and 35 mm film cameras. You will find a multitude of beautiful time lapse, real time, motion control, dolly tracks, pans and driving POV's shots that cut well to establish a place and offer transitional plates.

DV Cuts are offered as NTSC DV 720X480 QuickTime clips. HD Cuts are broadcast quality hi-definition clips and HD Cuts are offered as both DVCPRO HD 1080 1280X1080 and PhotoJPEG 1920X1280 set at "High" quality QuickTime clips. HDcuts also offers a collection of HDV 1920X1280 QuickTime clips. We are acquiring a Red camera and will offer 2K clips shortly.

HD/DVcuts mission is to provide “instant clip gratification when you need em'”. Our goals are to offer high quality shots fast and to open the door to people creating artistic video projects and do not have big budgets to film all the shots needed to create hi-end video projects.

Licensing allows for unlimited use of the cuts for nearly any purpose to create for broadcast and for retail use. Your final projects created with the clip/s can be continued to be use indefinitely.

We are starting to expand to represent other cinematographers and are developing our website to accomplish this in 2008.
