CLIP SPECIFICATIONS

DVcuts are NTSC full resolution 720x480 QuickTime clips. This file format is very common and can be used in most all editing programs and clips are set to use in standard definition TV 4:3 aspect ratio video projection.

HDcuts are hi definition 16:9 aspect ratio QuickTime clips. HD Cuts are offered in two formats upon purchase as either DVCPRO HD 1080p 1280x1080 and HD PhotoJPEG 1920x1280 QuickTime clips. We offer both progressive DVCPro HD and HD PhotoJpeg QuickTime movie formats so you can use the clip format that is suitable depending on your computer edit software and hardware you are employing. We also offer a collection of HDV 1920X1280 QuickTime clips. HDcuts can be used for hi definition projects and provide crisp video projection that will greatly enhance a hi-end broadcast video production.

CAMERA EQUIPMENT

DVcuts are filmed with 35mm film, 24 progressive DV or HD cameras. HDcuts are filmed with various professional high definition and 35mm film cameras.

TEST CLIPS

Every clip in the library has two (2) test clips to download to evaluate the content and quality of the shots. Register to login to download test clips and use a Clip Bin. Click on +ClipBin under a shot to add a shot to your Clip Bin area. Clip Bin also allows you to get volume discounts which are generous.

To download sample test clips go to the QT or Info buttons under a shot and in the next window you will see the test files, simply click on them to start their download to your computer system. Test clips to ensure you have the specific software and hardware to support these QuickTime files.

DOWNLOAD CLIPS

Once you purchase the footage you will be provided immediate access to your clip via an email sent to you right away. If downloading a HD file it will take several minutes because the file size is large, around 100-150 MB for a clean shot.

ADDITIONAL FORMATS MEDIA AND DELIVERY

The HDcuts maybe offered in other high-end formats with additional lab fees. All the cuts are offered as downloads immediately or available on DVD or Mini-DV tape for an additional $50 assembly charge and $100 for a Mini Hard drive plus cost of delivery.
